Hydro Aluminum Settles EPA Suit Over Ky. Plant

Law360, New York (January 27, 2011, 7:31 PM EST) -- Hydro Aluminum North America Inc. will pay $283,500 to settle a suit by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency alleging that it violated the Clean Air Act by failing to conduct testing and submit required documents for a Kentucky plant.

Judge Joseph H. McKinley Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky signed off on the settlement Thursday. The EPA's complaint and the settlement agreement were filed concurrently on Tuesday.
