Celanese Wants High Court To Weigh CERCLA Liability

Law360, New York (January 27, 2011, 4:34 PM EST) -- Celanese Corp. has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to determine whether a contractor that damaged a Celanese-owned gas pipeline three decades ago could be held liable for the $4.6 million the company has spent to clean up the resulting contamination.
