Selective Seeks To Nix Coverage In Home Defect Row

Law360 (January 28, 2011, 3:52 PM EST) -- Selective Insurance Co. of the Southeast is claiming it has no obligation to defend or indemnify Low Country Renovations LLC in a lawsuit over the allegedly defective construction of luxury townhouses in a South Carolina community.

The complaint, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, claims that numerous exclusions in the commercial general liability policy for Low Country free Selective from covering the company.
