Insurers Sue Neb. Excavator Over Pipeline Defense

Law360, New York (January 28, 2011, 5:44 PM EST) -- Two insurance units of FBL Financial Group Inc. filed an amended complaint Friday alleging they have no obligation to defend or indemnify a Nebraska excavation company sued for rupturing a buried natural gas pipeline.

The original complaint, lodged in August in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, was amended Friday to add an insurance policy.
