Clouds Part Over Legal Biz As Demand Rises: Report

Law360 (February 1, 2011, 3:06 PM EST) -- Following general economic trends, demand for law firm services rose slightly in the fourth quarter for the first time since the credit crisis hit, according to consulting firm Hildebrandt Baker Robbins.

The company said Thursday that its Peer Monitor Economic Index, which scores law firm performance using data from major U.S. firms and international markets, hit 55 in the fourth quarter of 2010, up three points from the previous quarter.
