Judge Orders More Monitoring Of Scrushy

Law360, New York (April 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge on Monday ordered founder and former CEO of HealthSouth Corp., Richard Scrushy, to wear a monitoring device when he’s outside of the area near his home.

The move, which came in response to an unauthorized yacht ride and trip to Miami when Richard Scrushy was supposed to be visiting Disney World, was less than what prosecutors had requested. The government wanted to have Scrushy, who was convicted in June of bribery, conspiracy and mail fraud, placed on home arrest as he awaits sentencing....
