Ex-Endocare Execs On The Hook For Fraud Charges

Law360, New York (April 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two former executives at Endocare Inc. have been indicted for allegedly taking part in a scheme that swindled investors out of $200 million by overstating revenue and devising sham deals between 2001 and 2003.

Paul W. Mikus, the former chief executive, and John V. Cracchiolo, a former chief financial officer and chief operating officer, were charged with securities fraud, filing false statements with federal regulators, wire fraud and a host of other charges by a federal grand jury in Santa Ana, Calif. on Monday.
