Judge Taps Mediator In Nortel Counterfeiting Suit

Law360, New York (January 31, 2011, 9:02 PM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge said Monday he would appoint a mediator to help resolve discovery disputes in defunct Nortel Networks Inc.'s adversary suit accusing Communications Test Design Inc. of using parts gained from a repair contract to build counterfeit phones.

At a hearing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Judge Kevin Gross said he has an attorney in mind to serve as a “hands-on, informal mediator” after both sides said they were not satisfied with their adversary’s responses to pretrial interrogatories.
