Kelley & Ferraro Files For Ch. 11 Amid Legal Woes

Law360, New York (January 31, 2011, 8:18 PM EST) -- Kelley & Ferraro LLP, which specializes in asbestos litigation, is seeking Chapter 11 protection in Florida following an Ohio appeals court's ruling that it must be dissolved as part of an agreement with a now-deceased name partner.

Founding partner James Ferraro asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida on Monday for permission to continue paying the firm's 10 nonequity partners and associates as well as its 40-member administrative staff.
