Neb. Lawmakers Mull Employer Credit-Check Ban

Law360, New York (February 1, 2011, 5:31 PM EST) -- Nebraska has become the latest state to consider legislation that would curb the use of an applicant's credit history in hiring decisions, a practice four states have outlawed and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has moved to replace.
