SEC Opens Probe Into CSC Accounting Adjustments

Law360, New York (February 2, 2011, 3:49 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has launched a formal investigation into accounting adjustments in Computer Sciences Corp.'s managed services sector.

The probe is related to previously disclosed accounting adjustments in the company's MSS segment, primarily in Europe's Nordic region, according to a CSC filing Tuesday with the SEC. The agency notified the company that the probe had been commenced on Jan. 28.

The company is cooperating with the investigation, CSC added.
