US Steel Drops Suit Over Dutch Steel Imports

Law360, New York (February 2, 2011, 7:49 PM EST) -- U.S. Steel Corp. has dropped a lawsuit seeking to compel the federal government to give instructions on liquidating certain hot-rolled steel products from the Netherlands.

The U.S. Court of International Trade on Wednesday granted the Pittsburgh-based steel producer’s bid to dismiss the action.

A representative for the government declined to comment Wednesday and an attorney representing U.S. Steel did not return a call seeking comment.
