Eaton Lied To Court In Bid To Hurt Rival, Suit Says

Law360 (February 3, 2011, 2:09 PM EST) -- Triumph Actuation Systems LLC has accused Eaton Corp. of stifling competition in the aerospace hydraulic pumps market by giving prosecutors false information and attempting to unethically influence a judge in a trade secrets suit it launched against Triumph.

J. Donald Cowan Jr. of Ellis & Winters LLP lodged Triumph's suit in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina on Tuesday, hitting the industrial power management giant with claims that it violated sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
