Lloyd's Demands Legal Records In Teck Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (February 4, 2011, 3:47 PM EST) -- Lloyd's of London has accused Teck Metals Ltd. of improperly refusing to turn over documents regarding prior environmental cases in a coverage suit over the alleged contamination of a lake in Washington state.

In a motion Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, Lloyd's argued Teck was breaching a Dec. 28 discovery order requiring it to produce all documents related to alleged violations of environmental law at a smelter facility in Trail, British Columbia.
