Bankrupt Animal Biotech Co. Seeks Buyer

Law360, New York (February 4, 2011, 7:29 PM EST) -- Struggling animal biotechnology company MetaMorphix Inc. announced Friday that it intended to sell substantially all of its assets as part of its bankruptcy reorganization.

MetaMorphix said it had hired American MedTech Advisors to assist in the sale of the company, and would accept bids for any of its assets until March 3. The company will hold an auction for qualified bidders on March 8 at the offices of its attorneys, Pinckney Harris & Weidinger LLC.
