Hedge Fund Founder Ordered To Pay $3.8M

Law360, New York (February 8, 2011, 1:18 PM EST) -- A federal judge has ordered John W. Lawton and his investment firm to pay $3.8 million in a civil suit claiming he overstated his hedge fund's assets, adding to the $7 million in restitution he must pay after pleading guilty to related criminal charges.
