E3 Biofuels Sues Plant Contractors For $60M

Law360, New York (February 9, 2011, 4:16 PM EST) -- Ethanol fuel maker E3 Biofuels LLC has sued three ethanol plant contractors for more than $60 million, saying their shoddy construction work drove E3's predecessor into bankruptcy.

Shawnee, Kansas-based E3 filed a breach of contract complaint against Biothane Corp., Dilling Mechanical Contractors Inc. and Perennial Energy Inc. on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska.
