US Ruled Not Liable For W.Va. Mine Fire Deaths

Law360, New York (February 8, 2011, 6:29 PM EST) -- A federal judge has thrown out a negligence and wrongful death suit brought against the U.S. government by two women whose husbands died in a January 2006 fire at a mine run by a Massey Energy Co. subsidiary.
