House Revives Bill To Ban Radioactive Waste Imports

Jim Matheson, D-Utah, has introduced legislation to prohibit certain foreign-generated, low-level radioactive waste from being imported into the country for permanent disposal, after a similar measure died before being enacted in the last congressional session.
