Sealy, International Bedding Settle Trade Dress Spat

Law360, New York (February 11, 2011, 7:07 PM EST) -- International Bedding Corp. has settled an intellectual property dispute that alleged its CEO and former Sealy Corp. employees misappropriated Sealy's trade secrets.

Judge Alan S. Gold of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida closed the case Wednesday after the mattress makers filed a stipulation seeking a dismissal of the suit with prejudice.

An attorney for Delaware-based International Bedding confirmed Friday that the parties had settled the dispute.

The terms of the settlement are confidential.
