FTC Taps O'Melveny Partner For Chief Trial Counsel

Law360, New York (February 14, 2011, 5:52 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission announced on Monday that it has chosen a former O'Melveny & Myers LLP partner to serve as chief litigation counsel for the agency's Competition Bureau.

Ted Hassi, who joined O'Melveny in 2005, will fill the position vacated by J. Robert Robertson, who left the agency in September to join Hogan Lovells' antitrust, competition and economic regulation practice team in Washington.
