Enviros Sue To Block $3B Ind. Highway Project

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 2:35 PM EST) -- Two environmental groups have lodged a declaratory judgment suit that seeks to prevent the construction of the $3 billion I-69 highway project between Indiana cities Evansville and Indianapolis.

The Hoosier Environmental Council and Citizens for Appropriate Rural Roads filed their suit Feb. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
