Hitachi Invalidates MIT Disk Drive Patent

Law360 (February 17, 2011, 3:39 PM EST) -- A federal judge has determined that Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s widely asserted disk drive patent is invalid because it claims more than it enables, giving Hitachi Global Storage Technologies Inc. a resounding win in a case many others had settled.
