Honda Launches Global Recall Of Faulty Fits

Law360, New York (February 17, 2011, 4:34 PM EST) -- Honda Motor Co. Ltd. has announced a recall of more than 97,000 Fit cars in the U.S. in order to replace faulty motion springs inside the engine's valvetrain.

The recall also extends to other subcompact models, the Freed and the City, that use the same engine. In total, 693,000 vehicles are affected worldwide.
