Australia, New Zealand Ease Investment Regs

Law360, New York (February 17, 2011, 5:24 PM EST) -- Australia and New Zealand have inked a bilateral investment agreement to strengthen economic and trade tries between the neighboring countries by freeing investment from regulatory review.

On Wednesday, Australia Prime Minister Julia Gillard and New Zealand Prime Minister John Key signed the Australia-New Zealand Closer Economic Relations Trade Agreement Investment Protocol, promoting broader economic integration and streamlining investment flow.
