Office Depot Appeals Loss To Insurers In SEC Case

Law360, New York (February 18, 2011, 4:44 PM EST) -- Office Depot Inc. on Friday appealed a $24 million loss in a suit seeking to force its insurers to cover costs related to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission probe.

Office Depot filed an appeal notice with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, saying it would ask the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit to overturn a win for insurers National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., and American Casualty Insurance Co.
