Zimmer Hits Law Firms With False Advertising Suit

Law360, New York (February 18, 2011, 7:45 PM EST) -- Orthopedic device maker Zimmer Inc. has filed a suit in an Indiana federal court alleging a group of plaintiff firms infringed its trademarks and ran false and misleading advertisements about its NexGen Knee System.

The suit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, took issue with an Internet advertising campaign from Michigan plaintiffs firms Kresch Oliver PLLC and Kresch Legal Services PLC, both of which are owned by Ari Kresch.
