Microsoft, Motorola Patent Suit Goes To Wash.

Law360 (February 22, 2011, 1:29 PM EST) -- Microsoft Corp. has lost its bid to toss a suit brought by Motorola Inc. over patents relating to its Windows 7 and Xbox products but succeeded in transferring the case from Wisconsin to its home turf in Washington state.

Judge Barbara B. Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin on Friday ruled that the Western District of Washington would be a more convenient forum and that the interest of justice favored transfer.
