9th Circ. Kills Dish's Injunction Bid In FCC Fight

Law360, New York (February 24, 2011, 6:53 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday upheld a decision denying Dish Network Corp.'s preliminary injunction bid in its suit challenging a 2010 law that bumped up deadlines for when satellite providers had to carry educational television stations in high definition.

A three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit agreed with a U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada judge's finding that Dish failed to demonstrate it is likely to succeed on the merits of its argument.
