Portuguese Auto Club Sues Antitrust Watchdog

Law360, New York (February 25, 2011, 5:56 PM EST) -- A Portuguese auto club has sued the country's antitrust watchdog over its refusal to investigate competition in the Portuguese retail gas sector, the regulator said Thursday.

The Portuguese Competition Authority confirmed that it had received a summons from the Administrative Court of Lisbon based on a complaint filed by the Automovel Club de Portugal, which provides travel assistance, information and support services to its members.
