Emboldened GOP Could Mean Ohio Labor Law Changes

Law360, New York (April 7, 2011, 7:20 PM EDT) -- Employers in Ohio have long hoped to change regulations affecting potential employment litigation, and with Republicans in the governor's office and both houses of the state legislature, 2011 may be the year those changes come, observers in the state say.

“If we can't get something passed in this climate, we're not going to get something passed,” said Tony Seegers, the director for labor and human resources policy at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.
