House Democrat Pushes EPA To Up Fracking Oversight

Edward Markey, D-Mass., on Saturday urged the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to strengthen its oversight of hydraulic fracturing on the heels of a report linking controversial fracking procedures to radiation-contaminated wastewater that may threaten local drinking water systems.
