BP Spill Fund Accused Of Neglecting Victims

Law360, New York (February 28, 2011, 5:02 PM EST) -- A Florida boat salvage company Friday reportedly hit the $20 billion escrow fund for the BP PLC oil spill with a suit alleging that the facility and its administrator, Kenneth Feinberg, have neglected victims.

Pinellas Marine Salvage Inc.’s complaint, filed in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida, accuses Feinberg and the Gulf Coast Claims Facility of fraud and negligence in compensating victims of last year’s oil spill at the Deepwater Horizon rig, according to a news report Monday in the Telegraph.
