Swiss Re Unit Owes $2M Over Hospital Project: Sodexo

Law360, New York (March 1, 2011, 7:32 PM EST) -- Sodexo Management Inc. sued a unit of Swiss Reinsurance Co. Ltd. in Massachusetts federal court Tuesday, alleging the insurer owes $2.2 million over an underlying contract dispute with a New York hospital.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, alleges that Sodexo settled the suit with the hospital over the project at issue, but that North American Capacity Insurance Co. has refused to pay the amount due under the policy.
