Vonage Warns Of Bankruptcy Risk

Law360, New York (April 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Internet phone carrier Vonage Holdings Corp. has admitted that its patent wrangle with rival Verizon Communications Inc. could lead it to file for bankruptcy.

In its annual filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday, Vonage said its “damaging and disruptive” legal tussle with Verizon could threaten its continued viability and force it into bankruptcy.
