Japanese Cos. Get ITC Win In Ball Bearing Duty Row

Law360, New York (March 2, 2011, 6:13 PM EST) -- Japanese ball bearings makers scored a victory Tuesday when the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that revoking an anti-dumping duty on their products would not likely cause material injury to U.S. bearings manufacturers.

The ITC filed its remand determination in favor of NSK Ltd., JTEKT Corp. and others pursuant to a partial remand order from Dec. 9, in which CIT Judge Judith Barzilay said the commission failed to adequately account for non-subject imports when it determined during its sunset review that imports from France, Germany, Italy...
