Alaska Energy Cos. Sue DOI Over Polar Bear Habitat

Law360, New York (March 2, 2011, 1:49 PM EST) -- A group of Alaskan oil and gas companies sued the U.S. Department of the Interior Tuesday over the agency's designation of a protected area for polar bears, saying that the defined habitat is too large and will harm Alaska's economy.
