Ex-Sonnenschein Atty Wins Verdict In Contract Suit

Law360, New York (March 2, 2011, 5:31 PM EST) -- A District of Columbia jury Monday sided with a lawyer who alleged his ex-employer, the former Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, cheated him out of part of a $2.7 billion settlement over the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.

The jury in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia determined that Douglas E. Rosenthal, now a partner with Constantine Cannon LLP, should have received $1.4 million in base pay for 2005 and 2006, not the $800,000 as he was originally offered.
