Obama Nominates Judges For Maine, La., Virgin Islands

Law360 (March 3, 2011, 1:56 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama on Wednesday nominated the New Orleans city attorney, an assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior and an assistant U.S. attorney for federal judgeships in Louisiana, the Virgin Islands and Maine.

The president announced he had nominated Nannette Jolivette-Brown to be a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, Wilma Antoinette Lewis to be a judge in the District Court of the Virgin Islands and Nancy Torresen to be a judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
