Chrysler To Recall 250K Cars Over Key System Defect

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 4:54 PM EST) -- Chrysler Group LLC is recalling nearly 250,000 vehicles because of a possible ignition key system defect that could lead engines to shut off while cars are in drive, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Thursday.

The recall affects certain 2010 model year Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans and Dodge Journey all-wheel drive vehicles, according to the NHTSA.
