Mazda Recalls 52K Cars Over Spider Web Issues

Law360, New York (March 3, 2011, 6:11 PM EST) -- Mazda Motor Corp. on Thursday announced it was recalling about 52,000 cars in the U.S. that are vulnerable to blockages and fires when a yellow sac spider spins webs in their vent lines.

Owners of the affected vehicles should take their cars to a dealership where mechanics will clear any blockages or replace the vent line, Mazda said in a statement.
