Dissecting CPSC’s New Public Database

Law360, New York (March 7, 2011, 12:43 PM EST) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is scheduled to launch a new searchable public database on March 11 for reports of harm related to the use of consumer products. The CPSC regulates thousands of consumer products sold in the United States, including toys, furniture, clothing and accessories, children’s products, electronics, sports and recreation items, containers, kitchen items, household chemicals and fuel.[1]
