Interest In D&O Insurance On The Rise: Study

Law360, New York (April 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Interest in directors and officers liability insurance has jumped dramatically over the past year, with the number of organizations purchasing the insurance for their executives increasing by 53%, according to a recent study.

A survey of 2,875 public and private companies conducted by research firm Towers Perrin has revealed that although the market for D&O insurance has softened over the past few years, the demand for broader personal liability coverage has increased.
