Salmonella Fears Prompt Skippy Peanut Butter Recall

Law360, New York (March 7, 2011, 4:05 PM EST) -- Unilever United States Inc. on Friday issued a limited recall of two of its reduced fat peanut butter brands, citing fears that the products were contaminated with salmonella.

The company said it was working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to pull an unspecified number of Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy Reduced Fat Super Chunk Peanut Butter Spread products.
