GOP Sens. Introduce National Right-To-Work Bill

Law360, New York (March 8, 2011, 5:30 PM EST) -- Republican senators signed onto a bill introduced by Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., Tuesday that would allow workers to decide whether to pay dues or join a union at their jobs, mirroring so-called right-to-work laws in 22 southern and western states.

DeMint introduced the National Right to Work Act, S. 504, which would ban mandatory requirements of employees to pay union dues or join a union as a condition for employment.
