The Evolution Of BACT Demonstrations For GHGs

Law360, New York (March 14, 2011, 1:10 PM EDT) -- On Jan. 2, 2011, greenhouse gases became a pollutant subject to regulation under the federal Clean Air Act. As a result, new and modified major stationary sources of GHGs are now subject to Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting requirements pursuant to the GHG Tailoring Rule previously adopted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.[1]
