ITC Says Importers Infringed Chrysler Jeep Patent

Law360 (March 11, 2011, 4:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday issued cease-and-desist orders against two auto importers that it found had infringed a Chrysler Group LLC patent for the Jeep Hurricane concept vehicle.

The ITC wrapped up the 337 investigation Chrysler instigated in May by handing down the set of orders against China's Shanghai Tandem Industrial Co. Ltd. and Charlotte, N.C.-based Vehicles Online Inc. Shanghai Tandem is also subject to a limited exclusion order.
