EEOC Sues TJX For Sexual Harassment

Law360, New York (April 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- TJX Companies Inc., which owns retailers such as T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s and Bob’s Stores, must adopt and enforce a sexual harassment policy to protect women, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said in a lawsuit filed Thursday.

The EEOC filed a Title VII suit on behalf of Machelle Allison, Shauntel Boyd and other female employees who were allegedly sexually harassed while they worked at a Marshall’s in Jacksonville, N.C.
