Champion Seeks Quick Win In PCB Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (March 14, 2011, 3:01 PM EDT) -- Champion Environmental Services Inc. on Friday sought summary judgment in a manufacturer's contract suit against the company and its insurer related to PCB contamination at an industrial site in Wisconsin.

In a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Champion said CNH America LLC's arguments for cleanup expenses under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act were fatally flawed, also attacking the plaintiff's state claims.
