Renault Security Chief Charged In Espionage Case

Law360, New York (March 14, 2011, 7:10 PM EDT) -- French prosecutors reportedly announced Monday that a Renault SA security manager has been charged with fraud and accused of fabricating industrial espionage claims that led the automaker to wrongly fire three executives.

Renault security agent Dominique Gevrey — one of the authors of the report that led to the executives' termination — was indicted for organized fraud after being arrested and questioned by French authorities over the weekend, French newspaper Le Figaro reported.
